AI Explainer Pro (the "Plugin") is developed by Noveralis ("Nicolas Severino"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Plugin and our related website and services.
2. What Data the Plugin Collects
2.1 Local Analysis (No Data Leaves Your Server)
The Plugin's core detection engine runs entirely on your WordPress server. Content analysis, AI scoring, model fingerprinting, and content hashing are performed locally. No content is sent to our servers or any third party.
2.2 License Verification
Premium users' WordPress sites periodically contact our license server (hosted on Supabase) to verify license validity. The only data transmitted is:
- Your license key
- Your site's domain name
- WordPress version, PHP version, and plugin version (for compatibility)
We do not transmit any content, user data, visitor information, or analytics.
2.3 Optional API Detection (Premium)
If you configure a third-party AI detection API (e.g., OpenAI), your post content is sent to that API provider. This is entirely optional and controlled by you. We are not responsible for the data handling practices of third-party API providers.
2.4 Website & Purchase
When you purchase a Premium license via Stripe, Stripe collects payment information under their own Privacy Policy. We receive your email address and name to create your license and send you the license key.
3. Cookies
The Plugin sets zero cookies on your visitors' browsers. Our website may use essential cookies for session management but does not use tracking or analytics cookies.
4. Data Storage
- Plugin data — Stored in your WordPress database (wp_options, wp_postmeta). You control it entirely.
- License data — Stored in our Supabase database (license key, email, domain, subscription status).
- Payment data — Stored by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
5. Data Retention
- Plugin data — Deleted when you uninstall the plugin (via uninstall.php).
- License data — Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation for dispute resolution, then deleted.
- Stripe events — Retained for 12 months for audit purposes, then purged.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
