1. Definitions
- "Plugin" refers to AI Explainer Pro, the WordPress plugin software.
- "Licensor" refers to Noveralis (Nicolas Severino).
- "Licensee" or "You" refers to the individual or entity using the Plugin.
- "License Key" refers to the unique alphanumeric code provided upon Premium purchase.
- "Site" refers to a single WordPress installation identified by a unique domain.
2. Grant of License
2.1 Free Version (GPL v3)
The Plugin's source code is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3 as required for WordPress.org distribution. You may use, modify, and distribute the Plugin under GPL v3 terms.
2.2 Premium License
A Premium License grants you:
- Access to Premium features (unlimited scans, AI model fingerprinting, auto disclosure, content hash, API detection, email reports, certificates).
- License activation on one (1) WordPress site per License Key.
- Access to priority email support.
- All updates released during your active subscription period.
2.3 What the Premium License Does NOT Grant
- The right to use one License Key on multiple sites simultaneously.
- The right to redistribute, sublicense, sell, or share License Keys.
- The right to reverse-engineer the license verification system.
- The right to remove or alter copyright notices, branding, or attribution.
3. License Key Usage
- Each License Key is bound to one domain upon first activation.
- You may deactivate a License Key from one site and reactivate it on another site.
- Simultaneous activation on multiple sites requires multiple License Keys.
- License Keys are validated via our license server. Internet connectivity is required for activation and periodic verification (daily WP-Cron check).
4. Subscription Terms
- Monthly: Billed every 30 days at 9.99€.
- Yearly: Billed every 365 days at 89€.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- Upon cancellation or payment failure, your Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period, plus a 3-day grace period.
- After expiration, the Plugin reverts to the Free tier (25 scans/month).
5. Updates and Support
- Premium Licensees receive all updates released during their active subscription.
- Free users receive updates via WordPress.org.
- Priority email support is available exclusively to Premium Licensees.
- We do not guarantee specific response times but aim for 48-hour response on business days.
6. Disclaimer
- The Plugin's AI detection engine uses heuristic analysis and does not guarantee accuracy.
- The EU AI Act compliance features provide informational guidance only, not legal advice.
- The AI Model Fingerprinting feature provides probabilistic matches, not definitive identification.
- The Content Originality Hash verifies content integrity but does not constitute legal proof.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Plugin is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." The Licensor shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- Inaccurate detection results or compliance assessments.
- Business decisions made based on Plugin output.
- Service interruptions, including license server downtime.
- Third-party API failures or data breaches.
Maximum aggregate liability is limited to the total fees paid by Licensee in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
- The Licensor may terminate a License Key if the Licensee violates this Agreement.
- Upon termination, the Licensee must cease using Premium features immediately.
- The GPL-licensed source code may continue to be used under GPL v3 terms (Free tier only).
9. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
