1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, activating, or using AI Explainer Pro (the "Plugin") or purchasing a Premium license, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin.
2. Description of Service
The Plugin provides AI content detection, model fingerprinting, EU AI Act compliance tools, and transparency badges for WordPress websites. It operates as a WordPress plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
3.1 Free Tier
The free version includes up to 25 scans per month, 5 detection methods, a compliance dashboard, and transparency badges. No payment or account required.
3.2 Premium Tier
Premium is available via monthly or yearly subscription. Premium features include unlimited scans, AI model fingerprinting, auto AI disclosure, content originality hash, API detection, email reports, and priority support.
4. Pricing and Payment
- Monthly: 9.99€/month
- Yearly: 89€/year
All prices are in Euros (EUR) and exclude applicable taxes (VAT). Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize recurring charges at the chosen interval.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal.
- After cancellation, Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of first purchase. Contact support@noveralis.com within 14 days for a full refund.
- No partial refunds are provided after the 14-day period.
6. License Key
- Each license key is valid for one (1) WordPress site.
- License keys are non-transferable without written consent.
- Sharing, reselling, or distributing license keys is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to revoke licenses used in violation of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The Plugin's source code is licensed under GPL v3 (as required for WordPress.org distribution). The brand name, logos, website design, documentation, and email templates are copyrighted by Noveralis and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Plugin is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. Specifically:
- The AI detection engine uses heuristic methods and does not guarantee accuracy.
- The EU AI Act compliance dashboard provides informational guidance, not legal advice.
- We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noveralis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Plugin. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Plugin in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Plugin is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Plugin processes content locally on your server. License verification transmits only your license key and domain to our servers.
11. Third-Party Services
The Plugin may integrate with third-party services (Stripe for payments, optional AI detection APIs). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Plugin's admin notices or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Plugin at any time by deactivating and uninstalling it.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
